Overview
This refund and cancellation policy outlines how you can cancel or seek a refund for a consultation service that you have booked through the Platform. We strive to provide a fair and transparent policy for all our patients.
Cancellation Policy
Under this policy:
- Cancellation requests will only be considered if the request is made at least 2 hours before the scheduled consultation time.
- Cancellation requests cannot be accepted if the consultation slot has already started or if the doctor has already prepared for your consultation.
- To request a cancellation, please contact us at drikumarjsr@gmail.com with your booking details.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be approved in the following scenarios:
- Technical Issues: If the consultation could not take place due to technical issues on our Platform that prevented the video call from connecting.
- Doctor Unavailability: If the doctor was unavailable at the scheduled time and was unable to conduct the consultation.
- Advance Cancellation: If you cancel your booking at least 2 hours before the scheduled consultation time.
- Duplicate Booking: If you accidentally made a duplicate booking for the same time slot.
Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:
- Completed Consultations: Once the consultation has been completed, no refund will be provided.
- No-Show: If you fail to join the consultation at the scheduled time without prior cancellation.
- Late Cancellation: Cancellation requests made less than 2 hours before the scheduled consultation time.
- Patient-Side Technical Issues: If the consultation could not take place due to technical issues on your end (poor internet connection, device issues, etc.).
- Dissatisfaction with Advice: Refunds are not provided based on dissatisfaction with the medical advice provided, as this is a matter of professional medical opinion.
Refund Process
- Request Submission: Submit your refund request by emailing drikumarjsr@gmail.com with your booking ID, phone number, and reason for the refund request.
- Review: Our team will review your request and may contact you for additional information if required.
- Decision: You will be notified of the decision within 3-5 business days.
- Processing: In case of approved refunds by Dr. Indrajeet Kumar, it will take 5-7 business days for the refund to be processed and credited to your original payment method.
Rescheduling
As an alternative to cancellation and refund, you may request to reschedule your consultation to a different available slot. Rescheduling requests must be made at least 2 hours before the scheduled consultation time. Please contact us to check availability and reschedule your appointment.
Force Majeure
Notwithstanding anything contained in this policy, neither party shall be liable for any failure to perform an obligation if performance is prevented or delayed by a force majeure event including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Changes to this Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes indicates your acceptance of the modified policy.
